We have entered 2024 at the Society for Roads of North-Eastern Slovenia with great drive and energy for new and successful projects – but before we share more, here is one more piece of news from 2023.
Our society has a new president!
The role has been taken on by Uroš Rozman, mag. prost. načrt., dipl. inž. grad. (UN), a long-standing active member of the society and former director of the Regional Development Agency for Podravje – Maribor, currently serving as a project manager at the Regional Development Agency for Koroška.
Building on the excellent legacy of the previous leadership, he aims to achieve the following goals:
increase membership and attract a younger generation,
improve the society's presence and activities online and on social media,
and consequently raise the visibility of the society and its activities,
maintain and further develop the society's traditional annual activities (conference, excursions, general assemblies, etc.).
All members extend sincere congratulations to Uroš and look forward to his presidency.
We also wish to take this opportunity to once again thank the outgoing president Boris Stergar, who successfully led the society through numerous symposia, professional study trips, and meetings in full compliance with all regulations, for everything he has done for both the society and for Slovenian roads.
