The Society for Roads of North-East Slovenia is organising a professional conference on 25 May 2022 at the University of Maribor, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Architecture, Smetanova 17, Maribor.
With the professional conference on the topic of "MARIBOR TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE CHALLENGES UP TO 2030", we wish to stimulate in-depth discussion on the opportunities, challenges, and issues facing the City Municipality of Maribor. The conference is divided into two parts: the first part comprises presentations of expert papers on the construction of transport infrastructure projects in the City Municipality of Maribor area up to 2030, while the second part will feature a round-table discussion on Maribor's transport challenges in light of transport needs and sustainable environmental challenges.
We expect up to 150 participants from the relevant ministries, representatives of investors, professional services, the business community, urban planners and designers, the media, and others. The event provides all participants with an opportunity to exchange professional views and positions, and to seek further assessments and answers in the field of infrastructure challenges in the city of Maribor.
