Through a professional conference on the topic »SLOVENIAN CONSTRUCTION FACING THE CHALLENGES OF BUILDING MAJOR TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS« we aim to encourage an in-depth discussion of the opportunities, challenges and problems brought by the country's next investment cycle. The conference is divided into two parts: the first consists of presentations of expert papers on the construction of the second railway track between Divača and Koper (2TDK), the Third Development Axis (DARS), the Karavanke tunnel (DARS) and road and railway projects (DRSI), while the second part features a round table on the future of Slovenian construction.
